What Is the Tamil Nadu Premier League?
TNPL — Tamil Nadu's Premier T20 League
The Tamil Nadu Premier League is a professional T20 cricket tournament established in 2016 by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). The league gives young cricketers from across the state a stage to perform in front of packed stadiums and national selectors.
Stars like T Natarajan, R Sai Kishore, Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar, and Shahrukh Khan all made their mark here before gaining national and IPL attention.
The 2025 edition saw iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans clinch their first-ever title with a dominant 118-run victory. Season 10 in 2026 promises to be the biggest yet.
